After about a week in kindergarten students are doing so well learning routines at school! I am so proud of them! We will continue to work on pre writing skills, letter identification and numbers 1-10 the next couple of weeks. If you have any question please do not hesitate to ask! A few reminders: -Label jackets, water bottles, lunch bags etc. with your students names. -Send a snack each day for your student. -Send a note with any changes in pick up at the end of the day. -Classroom is PEANUT & TREE NUT FREE. Please do not send snacks containing these. Items in lunch bags that are peanut and tree nut items may be eaten in the lunch room. -We have no way to refrigerate snack items such as string cheese and yogurt. Please send items that can sit out until the end of the day when students have snack. |
Mrs. SteadMy favorite part of teaching kindergarten is watching my students grow- so much happens their first year in school. I enjoy learning, laughing and reading with my kinders. My husband I welcomed our first child, Miles, in May 2018. I love DIY home improvement projects, cycling and I have one spoiled cat at home! I graduated from UW Oshkosh with a dual degree in early childhood special education and elementary education. This is my eighth year teaching kindergarten at Riverside Elementary. Archives
